Wingsrom have developed several different assembly and manufacturing capabilities over a number of years, in order to support more complex parts. During this time, we always strive to use the latest industry technologies.

Our core processes include:

TURNING AND MILLING

•OKUMA 3axis, 4axis with pallets and 5 axis simultaneous milling machines. All the machines equipped with Renishaw for most precision results

•OKUMA turn-mill machines with bar feeders to support diameters up to 400mm and lengths up to 600mm

•CITIZEN swiss-type turning for parts up to 320mm x Ø38mm

•Quality inspection and control- advanced pre-released risk assessment to 100% final inspection before shipping

GRINDING

•STUDER internal and external cylindrical grinding up to 1000mm x Ø400mm

THREAD ROLLING

•REED B22 for parts up to 200mm x Ø63.5mm

HONING

•SUNNEN MBB for parts up to 406mm x Ø1.5-65mm

CNC MACHINING

•CNC machines are supported by Master CAM software system and four dedicated CMM’s to correlate the 3D models during development and production

OTHER CAPABILITIES

•We now have a dedicated team of Method Engineers, Quality Inspectors and Operators who have experience in:-

•Cold riveting, Helical inserts, Swaging, Specialized bonding and other assembling operations
